Laborer Position
Candidates for Building Materials Laborer must be hardworking and reliable with a positive attitude

Candidates must have stamina and be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer to join our Building Materials team. This position involves physical labor, requiring you to handle, sort, and organize materials both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. As part of a small, close-knit team, your work will directly impact the efficiency of our Auction processes. You will help break down large shipments into manageable Auction packs, ensuring that each product meets quality standards. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in completing tasks with attention to detail.
Scope of Responsibilities
All candidates undergo a trial period of no more than one week before being considered for a full-time hire. Our team is currently a 4-person to a 6-person team. Its primary role is to break down items from manufacturers into Auction packs. These are the units that customers see in our Auctions and are in a more user-friendly size. The building materials team also performs the role of quality control by separating products that are not of the desired quality and packaging them separately, then tagging them with the issue. After that, the processing team tags all the Auction packs with product details. These tags are used by other teams in the Auction process. This team plays a crucial role in our ability to rotate and process inventory.
Routine Tasks
- Assemble Cabinets

- Saw & rip boards to make chalks (stickers) to fasten lumber to
- Move inventory in the sorting area
- Complete simple paperwork for the day's tasks
- Forklift operating or willing to learn on forklift

Day to Day with Us
A typical workday begins at 8 am and ends at 4:30 pm with a ½-hour lunch. Occasionally these teams have over time, especially the Processing Team when we need to have a certain amount accomplished by a specific time. We are supporters of leaving the day at a certain point rather than a specific time.
