All buyers that are not FFLs must pass a NICS background check prior to receiving any firearms (now including muzzleloaders and black powder handguns must now be put on a pistol permit). There is no charge for the NICS check. FFLs will need to provide us with a copy of their license(s) dated for the date of pick-up as well as their state license if buying handguns (when applicable).

Non-FFL handgun purchasers must have a coupon from their county as well as their permit to pick up pistols and revolvers. Any handguns purchased by residents other than New York must be transferred to an FFL in the purchaser's state.

Any firearm or accessory marked "Not NYS Compliant" cannot be transferred to a New York citizen unless they are an FFL or Law Enforcement.

Semi-Automatic Rifles: Any New York buyer purchasing any model of semi-automatic rifle must now have a permit issued by their county. For pistol permit holders in most of our neighboring counties, this is an addendum or new title on your pistol permit which you must have prior to us giving you the rifle. Anyone without a handgun license must apply from scratch.  In an effort to make this more convenient to you, we will extend the pick-up of semi-auto rifles as necessary to allow you to get the license that NYS elected democrats say you now must have.

Ammunition Sales: The new law now requires a background check on ammunition (not reloading items). However, there is no system in place to perform a background check in NY. The State Police have told us to keep a record (which we always have anyway) but don’t be annoyed when we now ask for your birthdate and occupation.

See the "Removal" tab for information on fees & procedures for shipping firearms & ammunition.

Our Online Auctions are for Responsible Adults Only. Please do not bid on any firearm unless you can pass the NICS background check. You will be required to pay for your purchases, even if you do not pass the NICS check. Do not bid on handguns unless you have a pistol permit. If you are buying from out of state, please have an FFL lined up to receive your purchases. If you are picking up from out of state, the laws of your state apply to purchasing here.  Please take the time to read the terms of the Auction, as well as the payment & pickup dates. Bidders who do not pick-up or make arrangements for shipping will be banned from participating in all future auctions (live and online).

Pickup for this auction is Friday October 28th 9am-4:30pm and Saturday October 29th 8am-12pm (Noon). If you have purchased a firearm that requires a NICS check, we ask that you try make an appointment online at https://lambrechtauction.simplybook.me/v2/ to minimize your wait time. If the appointment calendar fills up, we will extend pickup into Monday. Be sure to select the Firearms Auction when scheduling your appointment (not one of the building material auctions).

Any handgun purchasers that cannot get a coupon in the limited time before the scheduled pick-up, can make an individual appointment for the near future, however the firearm offices will be closed from November 4th to November 13th.

All Firearms: Please bring positive identification (in most cases a driver license) with a physical address (not a PO Box) for the NICS check. If you are picking up from out of state, the laws of your state apply to purchasing here.

Handguns:  NYS residents: You may use the invoice that is immediately available to you on your online bidding account to obtain your handgun coupons from your pistol clerk prior to coming if you wish. If you are unable to get a coupon before the pick-up dates, you may come pay for your purchases and we will run your NICS check. The handgun can then be picked up by appointment once you have obtained your coupon. The NICS check is good for 30 days. Out-of-state handgun purchasers must have their purchases shipped to an FFL in their state.

Shipping: We cannot ship powder or primers – anywhere. We will not ship ammo in New York. If you are a NY resident buying ammo, you must pick it up at our facility. Other states may have restrictions on shipping ammo. If yours does, it will be shipped to an entity that may lawfully receive it.

All ammo will be shipped UPS at the cost of shipping & insurance plus a $10 per carton handling charge. If you do not want insurance, notify us by e-mail to have it waived. We bear no responsibility for items damaged in shipping.

All firearms must be shipped to an FFL. All firearms will be shipped via the US Postal Service – Priority Mail with insurance for the total amount of the invoice. We will not use UPS unless you specifically request it and agree to be responsible for what they break!  If you do not wish to pay for insurance or are self-insured, please email us prior to shipping and let us know of your wishes. We make a diligent effort to pack items in a responsible manner, but it is unreal what these shipping companies can break. We will not be liable for shipping damage. Buyers will be charged the actual cost of shipping & insurance plus a $20/gun box and handling charge. If you need a firearm shipped, please send us your information along with a corresponding Federal Firearms License copy of the licensee that will receive it.

Nothing will be shipped until after the live pickup ends. Shipping takes us some time, so be patient.
